  • Recipient of the prestigious Mitacs Global Research Internship Award.
  • Working in the Cybernetics and Reality Engineering (CARE) Laboratory under the supervision of Prof. Kiyoshi Kiyokawa.
  • Project: Developing a smart glasses assistance system for daily use.

Ph.D. Researcher

Concordia University • Montreal, Canada
  • Google-Funded Projects: Engineered an early-warning system for common hand-tracking failures in VR. Detected tracking loss before it occurs and provided visual feedback to reduce tracking loss and improve user experience. Used eye-tracking and user behavior logging to analyze user reaction for early warnings. Resulted in publications in PLOS ONE and IEEE Access, and provided the system foundation for a follow-up study on user trust and confidence under false warnings (IEEE TVCG, ISMAR 2026 Special Issue).
  • Designed and validated novel interaction techniques for "Mid-Air Object Manipulation," implementing algorithms for Object Speed Control to enhance user precision (Published at ISMAR 2024).
  • Cross-Reality Systems: Built and evaluated MAR, a cross-reality 3D modeling system pairing desktop Blender with immersive AR inspection and gesture-based selection (N=20). Published in IEEE TVCG (ISMAR 2026 Special Issue).
  • AI-Assisted Authoring in XR: Designed an AR second-screen system for LLM-assisted desktop workflows and quantified the transition costs of crossing between physical and virtual workspaces. Published at ACM SUI 2026.
  • Developed high-fidelity experimental testbeds in Unity (C#), ensuring consistent performance to maintain ecological validity during user studies.
  • Conducted mixed-methods user studies for each paper.
